Forster Triathlon Club is a small, community club run by volunteers and that is informal in its presence. We do not have any official training sessions but utilize many of the other community groups in the area. Find out more about these groups below.

Forster Turtles
These hardcore ocean reptiles swim every morning all year round at 7.30am from Main Beach in Forster.

Mudcrabs
This winter swim club who claim the water is never that cold, "it hardly ever gets below 15 degrees", meet every Sunday morning at 9am for short distance races in the Bullring. These races are run from May to the end of September. Soup and a bbq brekky follow each meet. Check them out here.

Manning Valley Cycle Club
Theses speed demons are based in Taree and offer year-round racing for cyclists of all levels, with road races on Saturdays from April to October and summer criterium events on Wednesday evenings from November to March.

Forster Runners
An informal and upbeat group of runners leaving Beach Bums on regular runs. Tuesday 5.50am for Intervals, Thursday 5.50am for 8km and Saturday for 10-12kms. All abilities, including walkers catered for. Always coffee afterwards.

Forster Run Club
The cool kids on the block, Forster Run Club meet 5.45am Saturday mornings for a 6am start. Running to the end of the Tuncurry breakwall for a 5km round trip. Post run coffee at the popular Beach Bums.

Forster Parkrun
The worldwide phenomenon that is Parkrun thrives in Forster. Held every Saturday, rain, hail or shine, you'll find runners and walkers of all abilities taking part in this weekend ritual. Meet at the Pebbly Park carpark for an 8am start.

Great Lakes Aquatic & Leisure Centre
Many of our members make use of the Aquatic Centre's swim squads. There are morning and evening options for both adults and juniors.

Trail Blazers
Forster Tuncurry has quite the trail running community with monthly runs organised around the Mid North Coast. Trailblazers can also be found in the early hours of Friday mornings running up and down Cape Hawke!
